Contemplating a supposed theory of the gaze in the field of philosophy, together with the study of the role of cinematographic language in the apprehension of the meaning of the film, could lead a common cinema viewer to better understand the different ways in which the formation of images occurs in our imaginary. In what refers to visual language, cinematographic art communicates in two ways: form and content and this articulation between the seeing and the senses of perceptions develop in the imaginary of the spectator new symbolic relations, which together with the sensations take us to the judgment about taste, pleasure and beauty in the movies.
Objectives:
– to promote for all audiences, a debate, between the construction of a memory of the devices of the montage in the cinema and its forms of translation of the images, through the presence of the language within an itinerary of audio description. (Resource that through descriptions of images, allows the amplification of the understanding by people with visual deficiency)
– Reflect on the role of art as a mediator of the meeting between different powers and the importance of audiodescription as artistic creation as part of the subjective lens of the eye to increase the image repertoire of people with visual impairment, developing new symbolic relations and ways of thinking, so fundamental for the enjoyment of art.
Objects of reflection and contemplation: “Audiodescription as an instant of suspension of the autonomy of the image – the words in Manoel de Barros and the writing in Vilém Flusser” and the parts of Odessa Steps, from Battleship Potemkin, from S. Eisenstein.
