The Desastro performance is situated between dance,  theater and rock concert. In the words of the director himself:

“In the Desastro performance it’s as if the Star Wars characters dance to the sound of David Bowie in a Power Rangers episode. Focused primarily on teenagers, Desastro is a neon choreography, an idea of the future frozen in the past, a universe of spatial eccentricity, a universe built from a vomit of light. Desastro is as dazzling as a strobe light made by the hand on the room switch. A play conducted to the sound of versions of ‘Space Oddity’ by David Bowie.”
