Theatrical pieces presented with great success in several Brazilian cities in recent years. Written by blacks, staged by actors and directors almost always black and assisted by audiences composed largely by blacks. This anthology is a celebration of the conquest of these artists who finally took their places on Brazilian stages, despite all the barriers imposed by the color of the skin.
Some generations of Brazilian playwrights such as Dione Carlos, Grace Passô, Jô Bilac, Luh Mazza, Leda Martins, Maria Shu, Jhonny Salaberg, José Fernando Peixoto de Azevedo and Rodrigo França are part of the collection.
