1. Company / Artist | Alvise Camozzi
Showcasing | VOID
Void is a Brazilian show created by artists who live different theatrical realities: Alvise Camozzi is an Italian artist who has lived in Brazil for years, Beatriz Sayad is a Brazilian artist who works with the Swiss company Finzi Pasca, Letizia Russo is an Italian playwright continuously in transit between countries and cultures, directs the masters of dramaturgy of the Biennale Theater of Venice. Void is a show that appropriates a chronic episode in 1987 (a radioactive disaster) and expands it poetically to reflect on the ways of altering or annihilating our individual and collective memory. The aesthetics of work, composed of a rhizomatic dramaturgical architecture, is strongly musical. Through its multilingual characteristics (the show can be presented in Italian or Portuguese) and its political, social and thematic, it puts us at the forefront of one of the fundamental issues of being in the contemporary world: the forms of heterodirection through narratives of power; we propose the work as a show that can be presented in the international circuit.

5. Company / Artist | Cia Artera de Teatro
Showcasing | Bug Chaser – Coração Purpurinado
Bug Chaser revolves around Mark who is in a quarantine being analyzed by a voice, an artificial intelligence program. In fragments the piece tells of his quest to infect himself with a virus on purpose.
Imagine a dystopian future. Now a man who faces risk in a divided city. Instant sex, small suicides in stealth. The virus here appears as a metaphor for a world sickened by consumption, incomplete, liquid relations of Bauman. Imagine a criminalist lawyer in the heart transplant queue, singing his solitude in a Karaoke, having sex as a way to relieve his relentless anguish, in flashbacks goes in search of the reagent sample. He wants to contaminate himself with the glitter. Imagine a text that contaminates your life and transforms yourself through real contact with men who are willing to talk about bareback and HIV. Fetish or political action? It’s so much bigger. Imagine a heart in the midst of all this creating, the world in chaos, intolerance, non-affection. The lamp becomes a souvenir. Aleppo. Sea. Childhood. Mickey Mouse. Blue hair. Imagine a man seeking belonging as any of us. Imagine an actor, a dramatist bleeding fictionally every day on the scene with a mouse behind the toilet. Imagine a new chapter of HIV. Maybe this text will not tell you everything. Perhaps the way is to find in the underworld a blue place, permeated by daily prophylaxis. This piece has the weight of a heart. From a dream. Imagine. All the veins lead to the heart.
