Show | Peça para adultos feita por crianças [Play for adults made by kids]
2017 | Elisa Ohtake | São Paulo | SP | Lenght: 1h30
Director Elisa Ohtake invites five children to reinvent the text of Hamlet, Shakespeare, from their experiences and the deglutition of their own human condition. From the friction between a child’s universe and the reflection on humanity, children create a dramaturgy that dialogues directly with the character of Hamlet as an announcement of the transhuman man. The performance brings to the scene a transhuman body capable of transcending the limits imposed by biology, supported by technological evolution and thus amplifying its physical, intellectual and communication capacities. An adult play made by children, bringing to the scene utopian and despotic futures, and the perception of what still exists and resists in the world as a powerhouse.
