O artista com deficiência no Brasil (Disabled artists in Brazil) | By Nicole Somera |Ed. Appris
The history of people with disabilities in Brazil is described in the book. From host institutions and academic research on the relationship between art and disability, and also retraces the trajectories of some individuals and their connections with art in the family, at school, in initiatives fostered by State and in specific artistic groups constituted in these spaces. It touches the precarious relationship between art, disability and social inclusion, about spaces of legitimacy of the artist, art and disability, without neglecting social inclusion entities and their tools, especially artistic activities.
