Espaço Dos à Deux

The Space Companhia Dos à Deux receives, since 2014, artists whose projects resist the current socio-political scenario and are interested in permeating their work with the experience of living with other multidisciplinary artists. The colonial house has rooms for rehearsals and presentations of the works in progress; multipurpose hall; studio for confection of scenic objects, costumes and scenery; accommodations with coexistence space. It is in the interest of the agents of this space, in partnership with Brasil Cena Aberta Association, to project this place of joint creation internationally, expanding the strength of their actions.
The artists André Curti and Artur Luanda Ribeiro, founders of the company and owners of the house, use the space to create their works and conduct training courses for actors, dancers and artists interested in gesture language. The modules include research on the poetic body and its musicality and on the body of objects. It also offers workshops on light and scenography dramaturgy.
